1937 Baseball

I was talking to a friend about how popular baseball has been over the years in Holdingford. It came up that local famous baseball pitcher, Ambrose "Lefty" Ebnet back in 1937 received a baseball contract from the Winnipeg ball club of the Northern League, he disregarded their offer and signed as pitcher for twice the all salaried club in Sorel, Canada
